Photography: Discover Light

Photography is the art of "writing with light". By mastering the nuances of light, one can significantly enhance the quality of one’s photographs. We will commence with an exploration of natural light and subsequently address artificially created light using continuous lights, speed-lights, and studio equipment. We will examine the properties of light, types of light, polarized light, the inverse law and measuring light. This knowledge will help students recognize and utilize light effectively in various photographic genres from macro and portraits to wildlife and landscape photography. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of lighting principles and develop strategies for improving their photographic skills. This course is intended for intermediate and advanced photographers, but beginner photographers are welcome to attend and will certainly benefit from the experience.
