Shoshinkai Iaido
Iaido, the martial art of drawing and cutting with a katana, is closely associated with the famous samurai of historical Japan. It is not a combat sport, nor is there sparring, but rather is a uniquely introspective martial art which focuses on the ideals of self awareness, centeredness, and the way of the samurai, or bushido. You will learn techniques, mannerisms, and history of this important and influential aspect of Japanese culture.
