National Lifeguard
This is the final stage in becoming a lifeguard. Candidates refine their surveillance skills, as well as specialized lifeguard techniques, such as contact aquatic rescues. Included are scanning, teamwork, hand signals, and basic pool chemistry and filtration. National Lifeguard includes the Lifesaving Society’s Airway Management and Oxygen Administration program. Please note: 100% attendance & participation required. Pre-requisites: 15yrs+, Standard First Aid/CPR-C, Bronze Cross.
